As a Surveyor or Quantity Surveyor at Land Structure, you will be part of a passionate and highly skilled team working on varied and challenging projects. While we’re willing to provide the training and support needed for your success, we’re looking for candidates who bring a strong work ethic, a proactive attitude, and a willingness to adapt to a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct site surveys, measurements, and inspections to ensure projects meet design specifications and quality standards.
• Prepare cost estimates, budgets, and valuations for projects at various stages.
• Interpret drawings and specifications, ensuring accurate implementation on-site.
• Collaborate with project managers and clients to ensure smooth communication and successful project delivery.
• Monitor project progress, managing variations and changes effectively.
• Maintain accurate documentation and reporting for compliance and accountability.

Desired Skills and Attributes

• Essential: A keen desire to work hard and learn, with excellent attention to detail.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to challenges on-site.
• Drawing interpretation and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills to foster a positive working environment.
• A passion for landscaping, construction, and delivering high-quality results.
• Preferred but not essential: A full UK driving licence and current CSCS card.

Working Conditions

• Full-time role: Monday to Friday (occasional weekend work may be required).
• Start times are typically 6:30 am, with site departures by 4:00 pm, depending on location.
• The role involves working outdoors year-round—candidates must be physically fit and prepared to handle diverse weather conditions.
